●Title and Affiliation: Dr Dorff is a Distinguished Professor in Philosophy and a University Rector at the American Jewish University

●For over forty years, Dr Dorff has taught Jewish Law at the UCLA School of Law. He is the Chair of the Conservative Movement's Committee on Jewish Law and Standards. He has chaired multiple scholarly organizations; the Academy of Judaic, Christian, and Islamic Studies, the Academy of Jewish Philosophy, the Jewish Law Association and the Society of Jewish Ethics. He was also elected Honorary President of the Jewish Law Association for the term of 2012-2016.
